Over the past two days, in between doctoral coursework, dissertation writing, and ongoing AI training, I completed both the Google Certified Educator Level 1 and Level 2 exams.
Next step: applying for the Google Certified Trainer program.
What stands out to me most is not just the certifications, but the shift in how I’m working. I’ve reached a point where, whenever I have a spare moment, I immediately ask: “What’s next?” Then I move to the next item on the list and execute.
That level of consistency and focus has been a game changer.
At the risk of sounding direct, this is the most productive I’ve ever been in my life. Not because I’m working more hours, but because I’m working with clarity and intention.
There’s also some irony here: I’ve passed the exams, but I’m still working through the official coursework. It’s a good reminder that learning and validation don’t always follow a straight line.
As I continue building at the intersection of AI, analytics, and education, I’m also exploring additional certifications in Google Gemini and AI-focused tools to expand both teaching and applied use cases.
If you’re an educator, trainer, or professional thinking about integrating AI or data into your workflow, I’d be glad to connect and share what I’m learning along the way.
