👉 Are you a user or a builder?

With Excel, most of us became users. With coding languages, some became builders while most remained on the outside. But AI agents are different. For the first time, we have something so transformational at our fingertips that the line between user and builder is blurring.

This is where my doctoral work in AI Augmented Exploratory Learning (AAEL) connects. AAEL is about learning by doing, with AI acting as both coach and co-creator. Instead of waiting for a formal curriculum or a fully defined skill set, professionals can experiment, prompt, refine, and adapt as the technology evolves. In a world where commercial access to large scale AI models is not even three years old, that adaptability is more important than any single skill.

So I wonder, should learning to build AI agents become a core skill for all professionals, or does it remain in the domain of technical specialists?

My opinion is simple: the more you know, the more you grow. Why wait for someone else to build it, when you can use AI agents and software like Replit to build something that can transform your business, your workflow, or even your classroom.
